Procedures for Transaction (Bank to Bank):
1. Buyer issues LOI + CP (Company Profile) + NCNDA/IMFPA, banking information must
be included.
2. Buyer and Seller have a Conference Call. Mandates and intermediaries included.
3. If agreement reached verbally, Seller sends FCO with PAG Examples (Payment
Assurance Guarantee) +”Verbiage” Statement of Readiness Letter + FAQ + Specifications.
4. Buyer signs and approves FCO then sends back with Certified Tear Sheet or “Verbiage
approved” Statement of Readiness Letter. *
Buyers with impeccable track record and approved status can send these documents
bank to bank.
5. Seller sends SPA. After reasonable changes, contracts are signed, sealed, notarized and
lodged at both banks
6. Buyer’s bank sends PAG (Payment Assurance Guarantee) to post BG760 or nontransferable
SBLC or MT543.
THIS SHOULD NOT INCUR ANY BANKING COST TO THE BUYER AS THIS IS
ONLY A CONFIRMATION.
7. Seller issues CI with Full POP (SGS, DTA, TSR included). This, for the first lift. **
8. Buyer provides Vessel details and or Tank Storage and pays via MT103 after successful
Dip Test.
9. Seller transfers title to the buyer.
10. Buyer’s bank issues BG760 or the cash-backed SBLC covering the Contract. Contract
starts. ***
Performance bonds are issued for the contract part
Buyer Swifts BG760, SBLC or MT543 in the amount of 1 month shipment Revolving
for 12 months and one day.
No loading, no departure of ship until MT103 payment activated.
* Banking must be from a Top 25 bank.
** Requests for partial PPOP before step №7 will be denied.
