BItumen and Oxidized Bitumen
we have a refinery that produces all of grade of bitumen 60/70, 85/100,
80/100, 40/50 and Oxidized bitumen in grades of 85/25, 90/15, 90/40, 95/25, 115/15.
Our quality control in the refinery is accordance with the international standard like
ASTM standard, we are testing the bitumen while being manufactured and finally on
the finished product. The most important specifications of bitumen are its softening
point, penetration rate, flash point, ductility and viscosity test.
We produce bitumen that has packaged in new steel drums (185 K.g) and Oxidized
bitumen in Melt able bags (25 Kg), Carton Box (25 Kg), Kraft Bag (25 Kg), New Steel
Drums (185 Kg)
Oxidized Bitumen (Blown)
Description:
Oxidized bitumen is produced by either continuous or Staggered Blowing Process.
Heated Penetration Grade bitumen under controlled environment is blown with air
which controls the oil content in the bitumen while it oxidized. The different grades for
suited applications produced are designated by two numbers to indicate the mid-points
of their softening point and penetration ranges.
Application:
Oxidized Bitumen has a wide variety of industrial applications
- As a bonding bitumen for roofing sheet membranes.
- As a hot applied waterproofing layer.
- Carpet tile manufacture.
- As a raw material for liquid bitumen coatings
- For production of bituminous pains, mastic
- For rust proof pipe coatings
- Used as an anti-slip layer compound in the piling industry
- Used for production of roofing and sound dampening felts, Used as under
carriage sealant in the automobile industry, electric cable joint protection, joint
filling compound, sealant compound and many more in our day to day life.
